Riversticks is a high energy trio fusing the styles of World Percussion music with the selective force of the Free Jazz movement. These dynamic rhythms are woven together with the masterful melodic improvisations of horns and flutes from around the world.

The trio consists of Michael Moses on Hand Drums, Percussion and Vibraphone.

The ensemble was gifted some studio time back in 1998 and worked up a sweet sweat during the six hour jam session that followed. During our "catching one's breath" time we went in to mix the six hour session down to one solid hour of inspired music. It is this extraction that became The Ferryman's release. We hope the Riversticks pun did not fly too far over the heads of our dear listeners.
